Even though Nice is not among the most popular gay destination in Europe, in the last years more and more gays all over the world began to frequent it for the numerous tourist attractions in and around Nice. The large affluence of gays in Nice, second most visited city by gays in France after Paris, influenced the authorities to create several venues for gays or at least gay friendly. Thus in Nice there are 2 beaches for gays : Coco and Castel beach (gay friendly), a gay bar Le Glam, a gay nightclub Le Klub, a massage parlor for gays MaleTouch, several gay and numerous gay friendly accommodations. One of the many organizations in Nice, AGLAE has been organizing since 2007 a gay parade in Nice.
